Old Rectory Website

Tue Sep 23, 2008, 3:26 AM
I have a few minutes before taking my daughter to nursery to say "Hi". I have been very busy over the summer and not done much in the way of art, however I have just finished a website for my friend so I have something to post at last! Have a look and see what you think. I'm no techie so it's fairly straight-forward.

  • Mood: Love
  • Listening to: "Murder Ballads" Nick Cave & the Bad
  • Reading: "The Blair Years" Alistair Campbell
  • Watching: nothing
  • Playing: iTunes
  • Eating: lunch
  • Drinking: tea

It looks amazing! You did an excellent job designing the website! The color scheme is very warm and cheery. It's obvious that you put A LOT of time and creative effort into it!

Hi CRG....good to hear from you again! Thanks for the comments....it's been a long gestation and a few late nights but I'm quite pleased with it. It's all part of my quest to get a VW campervan!
:iconcute-rohan-girl:
a VW...Campervan? Is that like, a man-wagon?
*ponders over what a campervan is*
:icontoms-art:
I'm not sure what a man-wagon means, but it sounds like a few steps further down the line from a "man-bag", so, no, not one of those. A VW campervan is the cool mobile home of the sixties, popular with hippies the world over - and just the right size for two not-very-tall people and their not-very-tall three year old. This would allow for many inexpensive wekends away on the coast and is a major improvement on camping in a tent!

Ah. So those van lookin' things with the pop up top camper thing.
Interesting...I think my art teacher had one of those.
Well, I'm glad you guys will have something to drive/sleep in
while on vacations that won't cost anything extra! lol.
