It has been a wee while but here is a new painting for you to have a look at and some upgraded logos for my websites which are so new that one of them is not even up yet!

I have been really busy so "Hello" to everyone I used to chat to and I hope you are all fine.

I have a few minutes before taking my daughter to nursery to say "Hi". I have been very busy over the summer and not done much in the way of art, however I have just finished a website for my friend so I have something to post at last! Have a look and see what you think. I'm no techie so it's fairly straight-forward.

Hello all.
I am back from my internal exile caused by a job promotion and a holiday. I recently got promoted (much to my surprise) which has caused a bit of organised chaos and a distinct lack of free time. I have also been away for a break with my family, back up to the Assynt area of NW Scotland. Please see the new photos to see Scotland in sunshine! Hopefully I will have time soon to get started on the new paintings that are in the pipeline.

Well, here a couple of oldies for you to have a look at while I work on the new ones. I recently put more of my greetings cards into the local deli and the two I have put up today seem to be the most popular.
I was also approached yesterday for a commission, so that's good, another painting of Ben Ledi. Let's hope that goes all the way. For every ten people who ask me to do a painting, only one will actually want to pay for it!
And I have been doing normal things, like painting the garden fence, potting sunflowers seeds with my daughter, putting up coat-racks and other things that stop me painting.

So, finally got shot of that damn cold, but only succeeded in passing it on to my daughter so she has been none too great this week. Been busy with everything other than art but still managed to go for a family drive through the Trossachs on Monday and got some photos to use a reference for paintings of Ben A'an and Tigh Mor (Gaelic for The Big House), which will be next up, I think. Also took some arty shots of the snow melting on our car bonnet, one of which I have just put up. I have a lot of 'arty' photos, as opposed to 'ref' photos, which I think I'll start to put up too.
Well, better get my ass in gear and get to work.
